just received a recorded message from this number at 0854. Saying, Visa fraud department spotted suspicious activity as my card used on USA gambling site. No names, bank details or any other information. Wanting me to press button 1 to "discuss". *ankers, hate that they don't get caught.

Scam. Said they were from sky and I may have offers, tried to get me to have fibre broadband. I stupidly gave my address, email etc. Just contacted sky & it appears that it’s not one of their numbers. There’s a recording if you ring the number back that does say it’s a recording on behalf of sky. Just be careful not to give any details.

Used to use Utility Wise, didn t realise my contracts were coming up until i got inundated with calls from brokers and suppliers. After getting a couple of quotes which weren t appealing at all, i decided to have a look online in which i found some much better prices. online. Claimed to be from some charity representing Noah’s Ark charity. Started going through the script about Covid, strange times, struggling for funds etc. Before he got the point where he asked me for a donation, I told him that If I wanted to donate to a charity of my choice, I would do it myself. I would not be doing it over the phone to a complete stranger claiming to from a charity. Probably a scam.
