Called every day now from a number beginning 0208 xxxxxx. This number 0208 275 4022 today. So many scam calls now I let every call go to the answerphone and just use the mobile, this is so persistent that I called back from mobile. There was no connection, tried the other niumbers beginning 0208 received in the last 7 days - BT recording saying numbers unrecognised, Have no idea if this is a scammer or genuine - but if its genuine they are doing a poor job as you cant call back.

Sales call Another call asking for a few minutes of your time. The caller did not id which firm he is working for or why he is calling but needs your time to complete a survey. The same man rang yesterday from 01613949542 with the same line of patter. How far down the survey does he start asking for your personal details etc?

Rang today and listed a stream of debts I DON T have. Hung up on me when I pointed out I have no debts. Thick Indian accent, didn t ask any security questions and also failed to tell me the name of the company twice - he got confused both times so god knows where he was meant to be calling from. Call centre based in India. They claim that there has been unauthorized activity on the internet from your computer and they will disconnect you unless you pay them. Once they have your credit card details they will take all the money that they can get away with. There are other variations on this to get your credit/debit card details.
