Male with indian accent said he was from BT, then asked whether I was a BT customer, after asking him why he was calling me, he rang off. In my opinion it was a scam call.

Very heavily accented Indian accent, also appalling sound quality with lots of noise in the background. I have been asked to call this number by an Asian man who claims to be from the London police, he claims that I have not responded to a summons regarding an alleged act of fraud. The number is alleged to be a Mr.Jake Coles who is a representative of solicitors, who can give me details of the alleged fraud case. I suspect this to be some sort of scam as I have never commited any fraud, in any case I believe that the local police would be involved if there were some sort of ligitamate problem.
