Usual scam call about a supposed "no fault" accident I d had recently. Strung him along for a minute before I ripped into him. Told him he was a scamming f****ing P*kki b*stard and I was going to rip his head off. After a minute of abuse from me he finally hung up. Don t be afraid to give these scammers as much abuse as possible as there is nothing they can do, and boy, it makes you feel good letting them know you know they re scum scammers!

Called at 4am, left a voicemail but I didn't listen to it, guessing it was telesales or something.

Asian lady claiming my BT IP address had been hacked. Asked me to search Google using a specific phrase which includes "my IP address location" (the word location is critical) - and this initially displays an California IP address but if you do the check properly - do not use the exact wording - you will find your IP address is a UK registered BT one. Do not be persuaded to link to any other website or download a program to "fix" the problem.

Domestic and General but no one there when answered. I called back and given the message "Call 0800 458 4611 to get your name taken off their list" - did so I hope it works !!

Phone scam! First they claimed to be my car insurance provider and asked questions regarding an incident. When I asked them the name of the company he replied with your car insurance . So I asked again and suddenly got the reply that it is Caterpillar Advisory, an insurance advisor claiming I could get compensation for any incident in the past. When I asked how they got my number, they hung up.

The caller stating saying about the RSPCA so I listened to what he was saying and as he went on realised he was going to ask for money, ?10 a month thats all, I said no thanks, then he went on about cruelty to animals and said what about ?1 a week, I still said no thanks, had to hang up in the end
