It's the 'the warranty on your washing machine has expired' scam. They will ask you to set up a direct debit, hoping to get your bank details. Quite persistent. If you play gormless and keep them talking you will stop them phoning someone else!

I had this phone number ring myself and when I tried to ring back the line was dead.
Called about 20 times from 8am on a Sunday morning to around 9am on the Monday morning. BT Call Guardian took care of it as the spammers/scammers will never bother to 'announce' themselves... they can't when they're using autodiallers to try and connect to as many number as possible. Sales call - I stupidly filled in a value your car email. They then phoned my mobile and my home twice. The valuation was completely over the top. I'd avoid.
