Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I asked them where they got this information from - they said they purchased these details from a company and had got them as I had registered the accident but hadn t claimed anything. This number, and a few others like it, have been calling me at random hours of the night, and play an automated message claiming to be from paypal, and telling me that there is an urgent security issue, and I need to verify my account details. It s clearly not from paypal, and is a way of scamming people.

I got a call from this number in past and blocked it they tried ringing me again just now but thanks to call blocking on my phone they couldn't connect

Called by this number today, said from Labour Party, questioned about why I joined as a registered supporter of Labour Party, was I a member of another organisation etc. I really took exception having to declare whether I voted labour in the last general election; irrespective of whether I did or not, that s my business! Since when do people have to tell others how they vote in at the polling booth!

Automated voice saying their from HMRC and must press one to call back or you'll be taken to magistrates court !

Sounds like a call centre of some description. Asked the caller to ring me back when there wasn't 3 or 4 other people talking louder than him sounding like they're sat...

I phoned and got big sighs,sarcasm and cheeky comments.blew my stack,asked for manager,they put the guy 2seats down on the phone,,I lost the plot and told them (very politely!)to remove her number from their database permenantly or I m passing the info to my lawyer and sueing their asses.like I said..ARSEHOLES!

Guy called "Jim"c asked for me and said he had 30 tickets reserved for my daughter (he used her name) @ 45euros for 5 Irish Lotto tickets. Claimed to be fromm Winners Lotto, gave the number (confirmed by 1471) and a website winner lotto.org. website exists but I wouldn t trust it.
