The caller rattled off a company name, knew my name, and said they were calling about the 'car accident that wasn't my fault'. My response was expletive.

Received automated calls on land line (which also identified my name ) about fraudulent use of debit card and asking me to press any button to run checks. I didn't do this and instead called my bank from a different phone (in case of phone scam). BoS confirmed it was not them. Sounds like a scam to me where if you press a button on your phone when on the automated call it holds the line open and the fraudster will be on the other end of the line when you think you are actually calling your bank and getting
