Probably a scam. Received message with nothing else just a suspicious looking text. Potentially dangerous to your phone and bank balance.

They claimed to be BT but never gave a caller name and had identified potential security issues with my BT Internet. Sent me a code number to "prove" they were genuine but it didn't feel right and when I said I thought they were scammers, caller became a bit aggressive.

This number ends in 408 not 409 every time I ring it its busy so I am presuming its a scam so beware

This number is a scam. My mum received a message from this number purporting to be me saying that I had broken my phone and could she use another number to message me on Whatsapp. This is the "Mum I've lost my phone scam" and this number cannot be trusted.

This number called me and said my card had been used twice, first for £500, than the second for £1000 with Amazon. Obviously a scam.

think this is a scam as line was crackly as anything and said someone was trying to take money from my account £1,000 and £324 but could not make it out clear enough to hear what options one and two were

Fraud - My bank account was almost hacked and I just got it back. Checking my profile, this number was in there, so that's how close they got to getting my bank account! A very dangerous number indeed!

01614646608 Thickly-accented, hardly intelligible Asian person, claiming to be EE; and offering 40% discount on new phone or contract. Strongly suspect this is a scammer phone because (a) we don't believe EE employs phone sales people who cannot speak clearly in English, and (b) it's a new unsearched, unreported number, so unlikely to be EE.

Recieved a call from this number , an automated one, asking me if I used my visa to pay an amount I don’t have in my bank. Didn’t wait to hear any more, cancelled call

SCAM Man said he's from Currys to upgrade my plan . I gave him really hard time as he deserved it. I asked him what was mu current plan he didn'tkno . I asked him how he offers me upgrade without knowing my current plan or even name. He couldn't answer what happened at school and why he couldn't find a better job rather than scamming people. This caller was female told me she was from Microsoft. I kept repeating go awey go away, you are a scam. Still tried to talk me into listening, put the phone down. It was annoying to say the least, I think it was a scam.

Claim to be fro the bank notifying me of two transactions and a press 1 or 2 to activate or contact fraud team. My bank has a different way of contacting so another scam call.

Left a voicemail on money transfer asking to press 1. Very likely spam.
