Bloke was very friendly and implied he was from BT and TPS. said there had been a large number of unsolicited calls in the area and offered a service to stop them. Hung up when I pressed him about price and told him I wouldn t pay. Scarily convincing to vulnerable people!

This phone number has called me a few times, previously when I pick it up, the person hangs up. Today someone spoke in a foreign language and I hung up.

Keep getting calls from this number. I don't answer numbers I do not recognise as get so many cold callers. Is this another?

This number has been calling for month, plus this number has been ringing me sometimes right after each other and it is a nuisance sometimes 6 or 7 times a day. Sometimes I answer this number by accident and recently I asked them to stop ringing and take my number off their list, which has never happened as they refused to do so. Totally cold call, a women was asking all sorts of questions about my pension arrangements. I have no idea why they contacted me apart from fishing for details.

This number is an agency which runs lifeline fobs for the elderly, the agency called to say my mums alarm was going off and alerted me as they could not contact her. Genuine number

A lady from Homespace Southampton called. Asked if I had a garden room or conservatory. I replied I m in a second floor flat and have neither. She then asked about my boiler. At this point I said the company couldn t help me and put the phone down. A minute later she was back on the phone saying she would only take on minute of my time and asked about my boiler again. I said I had storage heaters and was then asked if my boiler was over 8 years old. I got very angry and slammed the phone down.

Apparently its "facebook marketing" but they seemed to be interested in selling advertising. Seems like a scam
