This number, an automated woman's voice, called my landline today and purported to be the bank saying that they're checking a £600 payment from my bank account to somewhere abroad. Comes up as suspected spam. Guy with an Indian accent said he was calling from a South African call centre on a Manchester landline! Claims he works for a company called UK Tariff that finds out if you're paying too much for your broadband or finds better deals. Thing is this so called company harasses with calls like 24/7 from different numbers most of the day. Hoping you're gullible enough to get to the part where you hand over your bank details. Best way is to report and block if it flags as spam.
I've no idea who this is. Apparently, I made a call to this number in May, lasting some 48 minutes and costing me 73.01 Swiss Francs (about 64 GBP). I now need to query this further as I have no recollection of making any calls to this number, ever). (Fraud, SPAM, SCAM, Paid number, I believe)
