Automated call offering government help for those on benefits. Call stopped when I pressed "2"

I was a little bored so gave them a fictitious name, a real address, loads of BS about Credit Cards I got; even telling him I d had refunds and my 8% interest too, but he insisted I was still entitled to more. Told me it was no win, no fee but if they did get anything then they got 30% plus VAT; that s 1/3 of the claim. After the usual delay, while the auto-dialer connected me to a scammer, I heard a voice with a foreign accent shouting "Phone! Phone!" Then some mumbled words in a foreign language and they hung up. I think they could do with some work on their phone script.

Caller asked for me by surname. When I said yes I was that person he went to hang up. I asked who he was and he said he was just someone who wanted to know if that was my name, and then hung up.

I didn't pick but I have no reason for someone in the area of Lynton to call me as I have never been there and no one from that area
