Thank you Google , I almost got scammed, from 289-624-5300 *// 289-624-4285 * // *647-354-2063 *//..I was about to call this person for a list of software programs that I wanted for my home and new business office and I noticed that this seller was in Toronto, Yes !, So I was happy about what he had to sell because I wanted these programs,and my 14 year daughter, said she had a bad feeling about this software guy. However, my daughter kept begging me and bugging me to Google search this number -// 289-624-3

As Title, used comparison site Mustard for a car insurance quote, got a call from this number saying they represent companys not on Mustards comparisons but couldnt give a price even close to the better quotes i got from Mustard, Confused or Go Compare. I wouldnt bother wasting time answering again if i had a do over !!

These people called claiming to be from the BT preference service. I told them I wasn't interested 3 times. Since then I've had three silent calls - all 6 calls were today. This is a scam.

Suspected fraud Automated call saying they are calling from Royal Mail because parcel hasn't been delivered twice as nobody was home and to press button for English or Chinese. Then the same message in Chinese. As I did not press a button, the call ended. (And I am not waiting for a parcel). I am very suspicious, as I never got a call from Royal Mail from a mobile number, they normally leave a notification behind to pick it up yourself. And why would they have the same message in Chinese as well?Fraud

Scam call from asian man somtimes it is a woman that calls, claiming to be from TalkTalk technical dept. and that there is a problem with my internet connection. They have also rung me using a prefix no in front of : 01274815595 which looks like: 0014401274815595.

Same experience as everyone else but unfortunately I am in some discussion with HMRC over some outstanding tax so I was initially taken in and did press option 1. They already knew my address and postcode ( not sure how ) and I was then stupid enough to give them my DOB before I smelled a rat and rang off. Unhappy that they now have some of my personal details.

Say youve had an accident in last 3 yrs even though you haven't. Don't like taking no for an answer. Try to get you to use them to make a claim by trying to take all your details. Get funny with you and just cut you off in mid sentence. Very rude

SPAM Lady saying she is calling from "Carphone warehouse with a 40% discount on all handsets" I've never been a carphone warehouse customer so they shouldn't have my details. Presume spam caller.

Had account for £300 never heard of company named Pearson. Found number on net from e mail address www.pearson .com. Seemed dodgy possible Indian voice, seemed confused where he was situated. Wanted me to send info etc. Asked if he was a scam at first he said yes then no could not seem to explain who he was.

I had 2 calls from this number supposed to be from BT tech. First from an male at 9am then a female at 9:30 both from 02833610015 I did not give them any information and just hung up. I get a fair few of these calls. The next one will be a "will you take part in a survey" so they can find out who your service provider is, then pretend to be them.
