Scam caller trying to keep you on the phone, just hang up.

I m ashamed to say that I worked for Ben Reynolds for a short time back in 2012 when his company was called Crown Lawyers. Same story as these, he d get us to find people with debts, take a fee from them and then cut off all contact with them. Supposedly we d get a commission for every job taken on, but he d tell us that the person had decided not to go ahead with recovering their debt and so we got nothing. We then found out that they had agreed to pursue the debt and Ben just wanted to avoid paying us

Keeps calling saying and when answered a pre-recorded message states that it is urgent for them to speak to me and I should ring a 0844 number asap.

Claimed to be Vodafone but when I challenged them put phone down. Since then I have had 3+ calls per day which I am ignoring. Reported to Vodafone by message -no reply yet.

They rang me regarding a survey I had completed, as I fill in loads of surveys I believed this to be true. They said I had won a £20 fuel voucher and gave a lot of information regarding how I can spend it etc. However they then went onto talk about how I could be part of their membership, which costs £79! Phone number: 07800005130. First text received stating instructed to sue for unpaid council tax! Demanding £413.01, deleted text. Second Text received stating arrangement for £100 per month agreed, on both it says call this number. 0151650480 ref: Jacobs. What a scam.

Came up from darlington. This person named copeland called re: bing verification of business listing I said I was already verified but had a duplicate listing, any how this person was rude, overbearing and aggressive, and refused to listen to any thing I said saying (he was going to hang up as he didnt like how i spoke to him) imagine that, I have the call recorded and saved on file.

Its a trustworthy number as its AO.COM. I bought an appliance recently and they were confirming everything. Unfortunately, the guy was persistent on setting up a domestic and general insurance for £7 a month. Annoying as the appliance comes with 2 years warranty. If I wanted D&G warranty i d go to D&G and get it. Please do not cold call customers pushing for the sale of this its unwanted.

Phoned more than once recently, in spite of us belonging to TPS. Really annoying when after 8pm and getting kids into bed! Fake survey presumably, leading to targeted marketing?

The man insists I have something wrong with my computer. He says his family get these calls also. Why isn t he kind enough to fix their computers then? Very annoying harassment calls almost daily.

This company was originally using a landline number. They are now calling people from a bogus mobile number which shows up as 07463 804966. They are not legitimate and seeking additional info about you. When you call the mobile number back a recording says that the number is not recognised. Hang up or block them, but do not confirm your name or address as they ask you to do.
