HOWEVER IF YOU RING THE NUMBER A HARMLESS INNOCENT SOUNDING OLD LADY WITH LOCAL SCUNTHORPE ACCENT WHOSE PINK COUNCIL HOUSE EVEN COMES UP ON HERE ANSWERS THE PHONE.USUALLY THESE TYPES OF SCAMS WHEN YOU RING THE NUMBER YOU ARE EITHER TOLD IT DOESN'T EXIST OR IT CANNOT BE REACHED. Message arrived over WhatsApp - I guess it's now the platform of choice for scammers, as bulk SMS costs money? Suspicious "hi, hope you are doing well" received, and nothing else. I'd suggest do not reply, not even to ask "who is this?", as it's likely a scam. If it was somebody I knew, I'd expect them to use my name and/or identify themselves if they can see we haven't communicated before.

I've put this as a Missed call but i didnt actually answer phone, i just let it ring as i didnt know who this was from and didnt actually recognise number, I'm very wary these days ,as there's too many scams goin around so i typed this number into google to see what came up it lead me here where it seemed to have a negative rating , so i will block in my Phone along with many others over the yrs .

This number sent an OTP number for a purchase I didn’t make. I’m talking to my bank and they’re checking it out. I’d say be careful and don’t click on any links or numbers.

They called claiming to be Microsoft who had detected problems on my computer. I asked them for the 6 digit problem code which the operator didn't understand so I asked her to read out the error message. When she refused I decided it was a scam and hung up.

SPAM - Number rings regularly, auto call and always goes dead when answered, I have blocked this number to stop the inconvenience.

This is clearly a fraudulent call - advising that £900 was about to be charged to a debit/credit card!! They need to be exposed, so that they do NOT con someone!!

Was called by number claiming to be PPI payment I was due ,said they needed a payment voucher of over £100 to process claim and in return come collect voucher and give me cheque gor 2.5k .phoned 4 times persistent to see if I have got voucher to collect .complete scam.dont fall for it and report it
