Received a call from this number from person with Lancashire accent said he was from HYA. When asked who was HYA he said the company dealt with taking card payments. When I stated I was not interested he asked 'Why not'. I realised it could be a scam to obtain bank details and cut them off.

Received call from this local area code (Huddersfield) and chose not to answer until I'd checked for ratings on the number, which turned out to be neutral. Called me again the following day, chose to answer and a polite lady speaking good English started by asking how my day was, what the weather was like here in the UK, she's sitting there in an office in Morocco and the weather is beautiful.....! So from Morocco they are managing to call through a local UK area code which you are more likely to answer. D

Answered call spoke about lotto I had entered into. Not entered in your any lotto. I just hung up on her part way through her conversation.
This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with PPI - insurance marketing.

Be aware that a text is sent saying you need to call this number urgently 0800 052 9429. Virgin have been advised and they have confirmed this is is not from them. I also couldn't access my media account so they had managed to hack it, apparently.

Calls me 2/3 times a day landline and mobile. Today decided to pick up to tell them to remove me from their database and I had reported the number for harrassment. They said, it s because we can t get hold of you. I said, put anything you need to in writing and remove me from this list. Woman was surprised and said, "but it s the AA", I said, I don t care who you are! As I don t belong to the AA anyway, I certainly wont be joining them in the future!
