4 Scam. Received a text supposedly from EE saying they've given me extra points, the points will expire in 3 working days and to click the link to claim them. I clicked the link because the text looked genuine. Upon clicking the link it stated I had 5400 points. All the items were cheap looking and cost £0.1+5000points. SCAM sounded like a genuine call from Virgin Media about internet problems. Said their server had been receiving errors from my hub. Suspicious when they started asking me what apps I ran on my phone. Even more suspicious when they wanted me to download remote control software so they 'could show me the problem ' Noticeable change in tone when I said I was an IT professional. Hung up the phone and called Virgin who confirmed they'd never ask someone to download software.

Had a call from this number today. Automated voice message saying someone trying to use £800 from debit card for a gambling place in the USA. They said they was from the fraud team. It also said they were not letting that £800 to come off debit card until I had spoken to someone. It tells you to press 1 to speak to an agent. I didn't want to speak to anyone so I put the phone down. The Automated voice sounded very familiar. People please don't fall for this.

SCAM claimed to be from Amazon calling about my order for an iphone. Said I would be charged £900. Hung up at this point.
Fraud: recorded massage telling me that I would be charged for an account that I don't have and have never had, and maybe never will have. Hung up.
SPAM Caller will ring your phone and then hang up upon hearing your voice but if you try to call the number back it is not recognised and an automated voice will say 'check the number and dial again', even though it just called you, my advice is not to answer and block instantly.

I received the call from this Vietnam number at 8am on a Sunday. By the time I got to my phone they had rung off without leaving a message. I had requested a cash offer for my house from Go Move and wondered if it was them. I checked with Who Called Me and discovered that it was a Vietnamese number which has over 1000 checks and one7/10 review saying it was a government message thanking them for their coronaviru efforts. Fraudulent txt. I was expecting a parcel delivery and received a txt from this number asking for my name, postcode and date of birth. It then asked for my debit card details, this request made me suspicious so obviously I didn't continue. My usual delivery man has just delivered my parcel and confirmed this would have been a fraudulent txt. Please do be careful, this txt seemed legitimate.

I have been called several times yesterday back to back from firstly a London number twice, then twice from private number and this one today. They all start by saying am I ****** when I ask who they are they mumble something then ask me if I own or rent my property. The person who called today was female and I could actually understand what she said, except for the initial mumble. The first two London calls where listed as suspected spam, however, some of calls in this category have been bona fide.
Fraud (Call back scam) They hung up as soon as I answered. It's the tedious call back scam where naive people (marks) call back thinking that it's a local/national number when, in fact, the return call is redirected to a premium rate number without the mark's knowledge. Works well with the drunk, those on drugs, the vulnerable and Boris voters.
My number on contract with o2 taken over by fraudster. O2 cancelled the number but it has been used in attempts to access my credit cards. Also possibly being used as a debit card app. number. Police and Action Fraud are aware.
