Phone rang, no answer the other end apart from a beep, then the caller hung up. Sounds automated. This number going on the blocked list.
These companies that provide numbers in first instance need to be investigated and blocks put in place. I think the UK regulator in the field is failing us as the public. What do they actually do??? In my opinion virtual numbers and use there of including the companies that provide these numbers needs to be monitored to stop this abuse. Told him my number was on TPF and he replied not interested and it didn t concern him what I was on. Claims to be calling from the rewards department from an EE call centre in India. Was told I can not call back as their line is only outbound and no web to browse their offers or phones? I was a little suspicions as if they where from EE they would of known not to start selling until my contact was up for renewal in 8months time.
