Harassment after telling them they are wrong

I am suspicious of this number because after receiving a possible ?phishing call I made a 1471 call to discover the number the call came from I was given this number, which I rang. It was answered by a man who told me he was in Kent and i told him why I had called his number but nothing else(my name or location) i suggested he should look into how this could have happened and that his line might be compromised somehow.

I have a Sky and 02 contract, different phones. I had a call from this number purporting to be 02 on my Sky phone; took me a while to realise! Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. Asked for my full name, which I queried as he was supposed to have my account records. However, not giving anything away, I did so but he misspelled everything. Automated voice says this is a bank alert, there have been two charges on your card , it then gives the details of the ‘transactions’ one supposedly for £200+ on Amazon, the other a bank transfer for over £1000. Then asked to press one or two depending on whether you have made these payments or not.

Says my credit card has been charged and to press 1 if the charges were NOT mine. Somehow getting a call from Russia to say my UK credit card is compromised is a little bit suspect !

I have just received the same call, saying they are working with Nominet. They told me all of the Nominet info about our domain, to make them seem legitimate, but obviously anyone can see this info. I refused to give any info at all, and at that point his tone changed and he said he will send an email confirming who they are. Still waiting for email!!!!!
