FraudFemale recorded voice with American accent (very amateurish) saying they were HMRC and that I had been reported for tax evasion. The case has been reported to the police and would be brought before a magistrate. "Press 1 to speak to a HMRC agent", Obviously I didn't. This country has some of the most advanced telecomms technology in the world. WHY can't the authoriries (Police, BT, the Regulator) take down these numbers?

Coronavirus - this is a scammer making fraud calls under the pretence of calling on behalf of the health service doing market research. Under MRS T&C a company is obliged to reveal the name of the company hes calling from and this guy didnt want to do that. It is some coward sitting at home making false calls, harassing people, he should come out of his phone face-to-face and then i will show him how to hide behind the phone and harass people.

Automated message claiming to be from Amazon Prime about charging my renewal to a Visa credit card. Asked me to press 1 or 2 for customer services. I hung up and checked my Amazon account. My subscription doesn't expire until July and I don't have a Visa card registered with Amazon. Clearly a scam.

I've worked in customer service multiple times, one thing I've been told which is common sense is not to spam our customers with calls, maximum I'd call is 2 times for a single customer then stop. Whoever's number this is has been calling everyday for the past few weeks which is 100% a scam. They said they were from Amazon and I had a £900 transaction taken from my account he asked me to follow his instructions ( I did know it was a scam) I told him ok he said to put him on loud speaker and he was going to give me a 9 digit code to enter into my phone, I asked him if he could call me back in 10 minutes when my daughter is home as she works for the police he suddenly hung up. I have passed the phone number on to Amazon but I’m worried about the people that they do trap please don’t give any one

This number has been making numerous calls today before 8am. It alternates with a private caller saying they are from Virginmedia. I have checked with the company who have no record of any calls being made to me. Annoying maybe dangerous.
