Had a call at 1221 today, 12 Jan 17 but caller left no message, so obviously a scam/spoof/marketing call. Tried ringing the number back but got a Sky Voicemail Service. Tried calling the number again at 1530 this afternoon, only to have an automated message saying the Voicemailbox was full & could not take any more messages. Phoned me saying that I had entered a competition to win either iPhone/iPad/car/?10,000. They know my name, number, postcode and age. They then tried to partake in weekly lottery draws, saying I had 98% chance of winning. I said i wasn t interested and that i hadn t entered any comperition and then hung up.

cold calls now to brain wash people into voteing for them, we get enough nuisance calls without having to put up with this.

Usual stuff. Today i asked them to hold the line while I find the details. Set the timer and put the phone on mute. I ve had them wait for as long as 10 minutes before. The more time I waste the less they harass somebody else.

Unhappy, Asked me personal questions when I said I don t want to discuss he tried to get me to talk about it by sharing his "personal" circumstances, when I repeated again I am not interested he hung up without goodbye or anything.

Type of call: Attempted Fraud! Lady called Carol with a strong Indian accent pretending to be from Microsoft and trying to gain remote access to my PC. Definitely not Microsoft, definitely not calling from the UK, and definitely a scam.
