Foreign sounding man phoned today from a local number saying his name is "Alex" and he s from "Amazon security". Didn t wait to hear more just hung...
I was contacted by this number who said they were Carphone Warehouse and I was due an upgrade on my phone. I felt the telemarketer was very friendly but was very pushy. Repeating my details over and over. He then had to phone back to say that my address wasn t on their system and that I needed to phone Orange and update even though I have lived at my address for 34 years and had 3 Orange contracts. Needless to say I told them not to bother.

I am local to Wrexham and have recently had 4 local numbers that have called me whose numbers I don t recognize so have left the calls go to answer phone but shortly after my answer phone message starts, they hang up. They are probably all from the same organization all calling from different numbers. So far the numbers who have called me are as follows: 01978 638019 01978 638253 01978 638486 01978 638995 I just wish I had bought a better landline phone to block these and other nuisance spam

I only use this number for comparethemarket, that's where he has got it from. I would say it's British Gas database as that's what I was looking to change to. SCAM / SPAM - called purporting to be from BT Openreach about slow internet. I do currently have a case pending about slow net, so believed them at first. Got suspicious when they said they needed me to share my screen with them. When I asked them for a phone number to call them back on to check who they were they hung up. BEWARE.

They are working good, they got my info as they already have they verified me and have sent me the legal documents on my door address, i read carefully and signed them regarding my car accident they did not charge a single penny out of my pocket and provided me the compensation money within 8 working days. I would rate it positive.
