Not sure what is going on here, but I got a new sim card today and it was not activated. After installing it into my phone I received an email at 15.46 this afternoon telling me my sim was activated. When I logged into my account online after activation, it showed on my account that I had sent a SMS to this number 07537 452525 at 14.57 today. This was impossible as the sim was not even activated at 14.57 and I definitely did not send any SMS to anyone. I called my Mobile Provider and they are investigating.

Buy a BT phone with call guardian. Best move I ever made. They just hang up on being told to announce their name/business and I don't have phone ringing with nuisance calls when I am in the middle of something!!!! Got a call today, claiming to be from Flow Energy, offering to put me on a cheaper tariff, but clearly a spam call. Would hope that Flow Energy have nothing to do with this.
SCAM This is a scam call claiming to be from Microsoft and telling me that my computer is highly compromised and they need to secure it. Yet they called my nans old landline which I wanted to keep when they house was sold following my uncles death so I had it redirected to my phone. I know this is a scam as they used my uncles name and he had been dead since 2020 so there is no way his computer was sending them any reports
