I received a text message from this number to say a payee request had been made on my HSBC account to Mr C Jones and to click a link if I didn’t request it. Obviously I didn’t as I don’t even have an HSBC account!

Scottish male called asking for my husband whom I lost three years ago. This was very upsetting as I grieve for him every day.
Called about washing machine insurance. We don’t have that, so I told him as much, and rang off.
This number is no known to me It has called several times in last three weeks, some time twice a day. a call today was the first I have actually answered and it was a "silent" call.
Told me he was from a UK government organisation where we live. I asked him which organisation that was and he said he was from the UK where we live, not the US. I continued to question him and he asked me if I was insane. I told him I had been diagnosed as such by my doctor, and he hung up on me....charming!!!!
