Called, but didn't leave a message on my answering machine so probably cold calling sales, or scammer. Now number 28 on my blocked numbers list :)
Scam…….be careful.
It appears to be a scam, as when you answer you hear a recorded message claiming it is from HMRC and ask you to press 1 to speak to an operator otherwise a legal action will be taken. HMRC don't use mobile number to contact tax payer

Fraud call. They said that they were calling from Santander Bank, they asked to speak to my husband who passed away 2 years ago. Informed Santander.
Tried to sell me an iPhone 14…. Scam!
SCAM recorded message claimed my bank / visa had been compromised, asked me to press 1 or 2 JUST HANG UP - do not press any other key !!
This number is being used for a scam. This number called claiming to be the bank & said two large payments had been drawn from my account- one for Amazon & one international payment . I ended the call without pressing any phone keys, then phoned my bank on a trusted number: they said my account was fine & the call had been a scam.
Covid19 - received a text message saying... "Tracing Notification: You have been in contact with a confirmed case of the latest variant. Please order a free test-kit via: trace.pcr-order-testkits.com/uk" Obviously not going to click on a dodgy link & I have test kits already to use. Scam.
IT WAS VERY STRÄNGE CALL, THEY ASKED MY PERSONAL DETAILS BECOUSE IT IS AN INVESTIGATION ON ME. GAVE INTE PERSONAL DETAILS AND THEY STOP TO SPEAK DIREKT. THEY SPOKE ON ENGLISH ONLY.
