SCAM caller claied to be from National Insurance alleging my NI number has been suspended and I needed to make an urgent payment - telling me to press 1 on my keypad - presumably so I then auto dialled a premium number!!!

Called this number back & she claimed to be from HMRC who apparently have served me with two warrants around miscalculation of Tax. They apparently called at my home on two occasions during lockdown when I was home and not allowed to leave me house. She was very plausible, giving me a name, badge number and warrant ref numbers. Considering I am employed and my tax is paid via PAYE I asked her questions as to who my employer was and this completely threw her. I asked her other questions which she sho
