I rejected the call and then l called back. It was answered by someone with sttong foreign accent asking about house problems in my house - if l have water leakage, moulds etc and if l want any repairs done.

SCAM - DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS NUMER. Said from Microsoft saying illegal activity spotted on Computer and he was going to shut the Computer down. TOTAL SCAM, DO NOT RESPOND OR AGREE TO DO ANYTHING THEY TRY TO TELL YOU TO DO. This is what Microsoft have said about these calls: This is a scam. This is not a legitimate call from Microsoft. They phone 2-3 times daily. I screen all my calls if I don t know the number and leave it to voicemail but a message has never been left. Also had another number calling 01634406900 that google also shows as trying to sell telegrah subscriptions
SCAM - automated voice claiming to be the “Department of Work” and that my national insurance number was being suspended because of my fraud!! Press 1 to talk to an officer which would be the real fraud!!
