i've missed several calls from this number (or numbers where just the last number is different). They ring but then hang up very quickly and never leave a message. This is exactly what i would expect from some sort of scam/nuisance caller

I answered the call in time. There was no response, then the line disconnected.
Called on our landline. Recorded message from Bank Security (didn't bother to say which bank). Apparently 2 transactions on my card (which one?!) £300 to Amazon and ..... I gave up at this point as it's obviously a scam. All our banks are based elsewhere so wouldn't phone from a local number and have mobile phones as first contact. Our number is recorded on Telephone Preference service but that doesn't seem to make any difference

Information I think this for Liverpool Road Dental in Stoke-on-Trent. They usually do a curtosy call to remind people of appointments.

I think this was a scam call saying he ("Charle" sic) was from Virgin Media and that he was going to cut off my internet for 30 days
