Without fail I ve had two calls for 5 conspicuous days now
This number has madesilent phone calls to here several times, no-one ever speaks. They are a blasted nuisance.
SCAM - man with strong indian accent called and said he was from Virgin and that my IP address had been compromised. Kept calling me ma'am which I hate. I said if you have my account detail you can call me by my name. Line went dead.
Private number
Caller identified himself as energy savings company in Great Yarmouth, and asked if I was home owner. I told him I d had a call from them a week ago and had said I wasn t interested in solar panels. He then tried to interest me in energy savings from govt scheme for new efficient boilers. Repeatedly offered me a free evaluation which I declined, then he hung up (politely) when he saw he wasn t persuading me.
Fraud - Called about a "criminal case" for tax evasion.
