Scam claimed to be from Sky but when we played along saying we hadn't got Sky they then wanted to know if we had a PC or laptop or mobile phone we said so they put the phone down!!!!

Gareth Evans telephoned and advised they were part of a Government backed security campaign and were carrying out a local exhibition. He basically said that Fire Service would not respond, Police were not responding to break-ins and would have to wait for an ambulance in the event of a fall. However, if their security systems were installed, all would be well - Fire Service, Police and Ambulance would all respond. Keep calling me for someone else. I have told them numerous times to stop phoning but they keep phoning.

Caller asked for me by my name - calling my mobile number. said he was "calling from Verso and was not selling". I asked "what was the call about and where did he get my number?" and he hung up. The number came up with Andover as the location of call, but teh 01246 is the chesterfield code- really do not understand this- and it is misleading.
