SCAM Caller claimed to be from EON Next - very poor line, started to claim that they were calling regarding an issue with our post code and wanted meter details. I refused as I'd had another similar call from different number last week - which had all the hallmarks of a scam, so I hung up then and called EON Next back to verify what was going on. They had no record of any calls being made by EON Next to my company either in reference to our post code or our meter numbers. TOTAL SCAM - HANG UP !
Recorded message,claiming a withdrawal had been made from my debit card.I do not have the card mentioned so I guess it was just a fishing trip to steal my money.
Text about BPO Respect in regards to Vodaphone. I don't use Vodaphone
This is the second call from a call centre claiming to be from Domestic & General with the information that my washing machine warranty was about to expire. They already knew my name but I didn't confirm it. Both times I informed them I didn't have a warranty, and they terminated the call. The implication is that this is a scam call.
a recorded message phoned me on my land line claiming they had stopped a fraudulant transaction on the credit card I use for Amazon purchases, inviting me to press 1 to speak to an Amazon rep at which pont i HUNG UP.
