Automated voice telling me my national insurance number had been compromised and to follow steps to ensure they didn’t take legal action against me. Apparently this type of scam has been common this year after a quick google search.

TAXES / HMRC Received a call from 08002853110, claiming to be from Department of Work and Pensions, fraud detected regarding my National Insurance Number, which was being suspended ! I tried to contact DWP by phone, but, due to Covid, was told to go online @ gov.uk. Online - was told to phone DWP contact number. Gave up, and decided to call above number - NUMBER INVALID. Got to be a scam !
