lady called saying she was from Vodaphone and wanted to help me get a better deal on my tariff. I asked that she call me back in 5 minutes, I checked out the number via google and discovered it was only operational from today. I have now blocked this caller number

Usual call asking if I had been in an accident. Ironically, I work for the Citizens Advice and this month we have been campaigning to make people Scam Aware. Number has been noted and complaint will be made.

It was difficult to hear the company name, but claimed to be something to do with an IVA (individual voluntary arrangement), whereby you could write off up to 80% of unsecured debt. Sounds like a scam
