Repeat calls from this company but they change their prefix of 01263 to 01828 and 01874. Last 6 digits change also. Rings for about 4-6 times and when you answer it hangs up. If...
Called claiming to be from British Gas asking about an account I had recently opened. Given that I wouldn t go anywhere near British Gas with a bargepole, let alone open an account with them, this wasn t an accurate question!! I informed them of this fact and they went away. Not convinced they won t phone again.
Asked to speak to me by my surname. They said they were from citizen something rather regarding finance so hung up and blocked.

I had a call this evening from someone who said it was reported that I'd had a traffic accident....I stopped him there as I checked this number out while he was on the line...
I was out when a call was received from this number but it was from a recognisable nuisance firm which apparently bombards thousands of people with recorded messages trying to indicate they are missing out on something. I think elsewhere they have been identified by name, with a South Wales location. That does not interest me personally. Receiving uninvited calls does.
