SCAM! online instment that asks for your banking detail. Avoid them like the pest.
Margaret from the (tax) reclaims department called from 02032395382 to my landline. She informed me I was due ?4225 to cover the various taxes I had paid and asked how I should like to receive it. I suggested a cheque would be the safest way and she told me the cheque number was 934158 and could be drawn on within 20 minutes of paying into my bank - she then quoted a bank I have not used for many years. I have just been conned for the second time. First it was ALDI where we have shopped for ages, at the checkout we were give our receipt and the cashier pointed out we could win £500 of shopping if we went online, after £4.50 was taken from our phone we managed to sent stop to a number and the payment stopped. Second was ARGOS who said we had won £500 so I left my mobile number, and guess what the deduction of £4.50 started again. Immediately I sent stop to the number on the ARGOS ad,but it failed. Using
