SCAM this number keeps calling my elderly mother several times a day they need stop or else I’m reporting it to the fraud police line.

British Gas calling as they said I emailed them about a house move...did not send them an email and already have Eon supplying the property which she confirmed over the phone...unsure of this is a genuine mistake or British Gas marketing??!?? Blocked caller anyway
SCAM / SPAM Claiming to be calling from HMRC and threatening to arrest
I have just received a call from this number, they knew my name and address. An English female said they were a financial advisory service offering advice on PPI refund I was due prior to 2007. I asked them to name the companies and she named two I ve never heard of. She asked for my DOB to confirm my identity- I refused saying I didn t know who she was and she made excuses and hung up. Definitely untrustworthy phishing scam type of call which is worrying how they got my name ,address and mobile number.

Calls my landline frequently, I have a policy of not answering the phone before the voicemail service and will only pick up if I recognise the caller. This is a foolproof method for avoiding telephone scams since no scammer ever leaves a message!
