They sounded like a call centre and gave a long introduction...when I asked them to repeat who they were they hung up
This is a scam number based in eastern block country, pretending to be HMRC. Report it immediately and completely ignore it.

I received an unsolicited call today from this number. The caller hung up as soon as I answered. I did a quick search of the number and found several scam alerts. Be aware and don't answer calls from numbers you don't recognize.

Woman with an Indian-accent claiming fraudulent use of my Visa credit card through online purchases through the night. I hung up. SCAM
It's the coop Bank. Legit call. I rang them and asked them to give me a call back with regards to an issue I had and this is the number they used
said it was bt phoneing told her she was a scammer she put phone down im not even with bt

I do not know this number, its location is given in a completely different part of the UK than the one where I live. I believe that it can be a dangerous connection. Be careful.
