Had countless missed calls on my machine from this number and did a little research, since I m very apprehensive about answering calls from unknown numbers. Apparently, this number belongs to LBM marketing, an outsourcing company for Vodafone, o2, Scottish Power and several other companies. So if you re not interested - like me - just ignore the calls or block the number (as I did).

As with previous comment. Recorded message saying I could apply for a grant towards a new boiler as required by Government by end of 2016 Have blocked it now on my phone so they wont ring again

Strange call that judt hung up.
This number seems to be from Dagastan in Russia. As I don't know anyone in Russia I would suggest it is a scam caller. Fortunately I got it as a missed call.
Pretending to be BT Openreach. Said we had low internet speed in our area. Hung up as soon as he realised it was a business and the owners weren't available.
This number came up on my caller display and is unknown to me so I lest the call go to answer machine. The caller hung up without leaving a message. If no message - to me this is a nuisance call. I have now blocked the number.
It's a company offering (dodgy) loans.

Scam. Automated message stating that £600 had been taken from a Visa or Mastercard in the last 15 minutes. Press 1 to continue. Pressed 1 to get another automated message to be told I was being transferred. Transferred through to what was obviously a call centre. I only did it out of curiosity as I knew it was a scam. Wanted others to be aware.

Yep. I answered the phone. It showed on screen it was swansea, i thought i had missed the call when i had actually answered it. I can only assume that they hung up.
I answered as it is a local area code but it was just someone telling me my address flagged up an accident I had in the past 2 years. I told them I hadn't so he apologised...
