SCAM: Recording saying £600 has been taken from current account and sent overseas. *DO NOT PRESS ANY NUMBERS. JUST PUT THE PHONE DOWN.* FACT: My current account provider emails me when I send money overseas. I've had no email.

Automated call threatening legal action if I ignored the call. Provided a 'case number' and told me to press 1 to speak to an 'officer'. Obvious fraud.

Apparently they advised me I had cover with them for my washing machine. Total scammers. As soon as I said my machine was rented they hung up. Be careful people

Got a call from 01246 255920 it was the same company UK Finance who keep ringing me on different numbers. They said i am due 10 year bank charges but could not tell me which bank. I just keep them on the line saying i need to write the number down then can't find my glasses etc. It must be 6 times they have called asking me to ring 0913 1240 871 which could cost me around £25 a call as it is a premium number. Of course once i do ring 0913 they can then release my cheque. I must have wasted at least an hour
