rang and asked who deals with my marketing i said he wasnt here so put the phone down rudely, so rang back and said hello i replied hi you just rang me and he put the phone down...

picked up the phone and there was a man with an accent singing softly on the other end of the phone in a very creepy manner.

said they from amazon sombody trying to spend 1500 on my credit card press 1 to ok it or 2 to block must be a scam because dont have that much on credit card limit.

a person with a funny usa-ish accent calling. gave me an acronym for a company they are calling on the behalf of - I asked who they were and he said Blog...Security something. I said I was not interested, wished him a good day and disconnected. No idea how they got my number.

This number called while I was out today. I rang it back later and got a message that it could not accept calls. My caller display indicated that it was an "international" number. Because it was clearly not from Liverpool, I set my call blocker against it. I note that it has subsequently rung again. My blocker rejected it.

It is a scam call . Supposedly from Amazon using my card and taking £1036 from my credit card.
nBeware as they use different numbers everyday. Let them chat on until they hang...

Definitely a scam. BT, Openreach, TalkTalk, Virgin etc., will never call you about a technical issue unless you contact them.

My phone was Rang and when answered nothing. Probably called from a computer from scam company similar to pinging an ip address

Picked up the phone and waited, then got what sounded like a recorded voice saying "Hello, how are you?" Ignored it and left the phone off the hook until it disconnected.
