SCAM- claims to connect you to an National Crime Agency officer who has seized your National Insurance Number and threatens to seize all of your assets. All in an automated message.
On the initial text I was informed was a quiz for an Asda shopping voucher, there are 2 ?1.50 texts to "sign up" what it doesn t tell you is that every other text for each question is also very expensive. I have spent over 100 in 3 days. not a happy man.
I phoned this number back and it said THIS NUMBER IS UNRECOGNIZED so now I know. When I answered this number previously it was an Asian man with bad English from a lifestyle company doing surveys. I ve been a victim of fraud in the past so never do over the phone surveys especially from an Asian man with bad English. Also be careful when you phone someone afterwards as they are always still on the phone line.
