30 Sep 2021 - Claims to be an insurance company calling about my minor car accident (which I haven't had). Every time I block a number they call back on a different one - all Glasgow based. Totally sick of these calls now as I've had 8 of them over the last couple of weeks.Reply

Received this automated call. Said from BT and that our telephone service and internet would be disconnected soon. To call back to speak to their technician - I suspect it's a premium rate call scam.

My 81 year old father was targeted and asked to insure his 4 year old Indesit washing machine. Unwittingly he set up a d.debit which he cancelled the next day, with the bank, when he realised he already had cover. He rang Appliance Serve and told them too, he was asked to put it in writing which he did. He is now getting calls about his non payment and they are threateneing court action as they said they hadn t received a phone call or letter. Total fraudsters targeting the elderly. #scammers
