Received a call from this number and listening to the message can understand why people fall for this. The message advises that HMRC wish to speak with you and it may be in your interest to appoint a Solicitor. Then asks that you call back. I called back and an Asian male answered with "This is Her Majesties Revenue Control, how can I help you" I hung up. This is a scam - do not entertain requests from anyone calling from a number that is not on the HMRC website www.gov.uk/government/organisatio

Blag rang it back several times can tell from the first message that comes up its a scam and when Ive rang back all sounds like members of the same family amp having rang the real Scottish power over several times for different reasons I know the actual Scottish power numberampvoicemail block this if it calls you its very high risk in my opinion

People please did someone answer it? No idea who is behind, no message left on my phone, just few missed calls. Probably some robocaller testing if my number is working? I usually don't answer unknown numbers, was trying to dig some info on internet but no luck so far. Some idea who is behind this number?

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 16181422xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with accident claims, insurance marketing - mostly Harrington Consultancy. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

Anybody getting calls from this number should report to police and trading standards, but also file a complaint with ICO and TPS, they prey on vulnerable people so if you really need to see someone about face to face I suggest discussing all the details with the citizens advice bureaux. It's a 100% scam, very similar to binary trading options and other trading market platforms, on this particular occasion these scammers claim in their video no money is required to start using the scheme and a promised payo
