HMRC SCAM / SPAM Hi This is Linda White from HMRC...blah - had this call twice today. Call goes on for about 55 seconds before they drop it. I suggest muting your phone and putting it to one side so the scammers phone lines are tied up with your call, rather than immediately calling others...

Had a call from this number. Lady stating she was from BT Accounts. When I challenged her she told me to ring 0800 800 153 which is unavailable. Definite hoax / scam for personal details.
Recorded message, american accent, robotic voice claiming that a letter sent to me by HMRC had been returned and I would now face legal action. Hung up and blocked the number. Big mistake was referrreferring to "Her Majesties Revenue and Cutoms" when it should be "His". SCAM TAXES / HMRC Automated call
