Scam caller pretending to be from VirginMedia support and that your "router has a virus". Others have tweeted that he then tries to get you to download and install software on your PC. VirginMedia deny that the number is linked to their Tech Support and advise that it's a scam.

I haven t received any calls from advantis but have received an unsolicited email. I don t owe any company/entity money so just googled their name. Like MrsTea I have recently bought a car. I can only assume my email address has been given out to these mongs. Scam merchants methinks. They won t even specify what they emailing about, will only say "a personal business matter."
