This is a hoax .... say they are from currys and PC world... they offer upgrade on your phone, 1 week on no new phone canceled card payment and direct debit, phoned again today soon as they heard my voice they hung up, I've been keeping the line busy for the past 2 hours .... got nothing better to do. I know ut won't do any good but I must be annoying them and stopping them catching anyone else out.

Claimed to be from o2, managed to send me an activation code from my actual O2 account then asked me to give him the number despite the message saying I shouldn’t. Clearly a scam, do not give them any details.
Call claiming to be from HMRC but sounded suspicious

A similar number is 02039977797. They sold me a fake flight ticket and are not answering my calls.

01797 740263 called 16 Jan 23 at 13:48hrs left no message, on ansa machine. 01797 360627 called 16 Jan 23 at 09:40 hrs, silent call. 01797 740246 called 13 Jan 23 at 09;25 hrs, silent call 01797 740242 called 6 Jan 23 at 14:07 hrs, silent call 01797 360623 called 3 Dec 22 at 08:30 hrs trying to sell loft insulation. 01797 740247 called 28 Nov 22 at 09:17 hrs left no message. All reported here. ANYONE got any suggestions please?
Voice activated claiming to be Amazon Prime, saying our membership had expired. It would cost £95 to get it up and running again. 100% a scam!!
I was contacted from this number at 16:30 on 10.06.2022. It was a man of Asian origin judging by the accent (Pakistani, Indian, Sri Lankan or Bangladeshi) and said quote: “Hello, is this ***** *****? (he pronounced my real name and surname and I confirmed). I am calling from UP Choice (I never heard about such company). Don’t worry I am not going to sell you anything. As it was our local area code we answered. After a short pause a male with an Asian accent said he was from BT and asked how we were, of course we instantly hung up, we are not BT customers.
