This number phoned and a recorded message stated that it was my bank asking to verify that 2 payments made today were genuine and if not to press 1 to speak to a member of the fraud team. No name of bank given so I suspect it to be a scam.

SCAM Foreign caller claiming that I have a bitcoin account that I didn’t know about. I have already heard of this scam and ended the call. I think the aim would be to obtain legitimate personal banking details from targeted individuals.
Didn't answer it was just silence on the other end when I received the call
Missed call - they don't like Call Guardian do they! That's how I know it's a cold call.
Automated call Fraud The same message as on 02086918217 left earlier in the day Payments to Amazon for £300 and an international money transfer request for £1000 from an unspecified credit or debit card were queried.
