Automated call regarding non payment of internet bill. Suspect a scam but I didn't hang around for long enough to find out either way.

I have never given british gas the authority to give my number out to marketing companies. They need to stop this or give compensation for harressment.
Got a call from this number, didn't recognie the code so l ignored it. Reading the comments above l'm glad l did! Thaks guys.

First call was number withheld and left voicemail "you have an important call about your free lottery ticket. Please press 1 to receive the call". Next day called again displaying number 0203 769 5758, once again let it go to voicemail and the same message was left. Caller now blocked on my iPhone. Free lottery ticket - I suspect not. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is!
