I was called this am on my mobile. Delay in connection. Caller purported to be from EE and offered me a special promotion from EE of40% off a new phone. Sounds like a scam to me.

Called several times, hung up when I answered
Called from a hen/stag company, can only assume another wedding vendor has sold my details as I have not signed up to receive such calls.
This was one of those automated unwanted calls, it just kept ringing for a long time so I had to pick up the call and cancel it to stop it irritating my elderly mother. Sounded like a recorded message by some foreign sounding lady, I hung up once the recording started. No doubt It was going to be one of many typical scam calls wanting you to press 1 to supposedly speak to someone as we know no-one on this number or were expecting no calls from the area the call supposedly came from.
