SCAM / SPAM - claiming to be BT and asking for us to confirm our account details - Indian accent - told us our internet speed is down and there was an issue with our router. When we asked for her to confirm our details to prove she was from BT she hung up.
I kept him on the phone for 5 mins, let him go through his talk. told him I had 4 computers, and asked which one had the virus. speechless. the he said all of them. I then told him I worked in I.T and I fix computers for a living. and asked him where he was from. he said Leicester. as I live 20 mins from where he said he was, I told him I was coming to see him. he panicked and put the phone down.

out of area call, and rather late in the day, totally unsolicited, talsking about postal votes. Is the Election registry office giving out my info??
The double zero at the start is a dead giveaway that the number originates (as in, has been spoofed) from abroad.

SCAM FRAUD SPAM Received a call from this number asking about a road traffic accident i was involve in. When i asked them to confirm some details of this alleged accident they started laughing and repeatedly asking me if i remember the 'accident'. After asking for details to be confirmed again they laughed some more and then hung up.
SCAM automated text to speech voice saying they were from Amazon Prime and that my auto renewal would take £79.99 from my bank unless i cancel/change it by speaking to an advisor.
Called and then hung up. No doubt will call back later with some pitch or other. Have blocked call. Someone who calls and then hangs up is not considered trustworthy!
