This number is from a batch of similar numbers: 07488871686. 07488871703. 07488871758, 07488871735, 07488871757, 07488871649, 07488871624, 07488871560, 07488871705, 07488871740 Many have been missed calls and the rest I let ring out. I rang back and they all have had an answering machine with the same female voice putting me in a queue and at no point saying who they are. Certainly not from the Whitehaven area because these numbers never begin with 0 after the area code. It s a spoof number so therefore a SCAM
SPAM Unknown number. Called at exactly 17:00. Did not answer. No voicemail left. Later texted "You missed a call from me at 17:01 01 Aug.This is a free Call Alert from O2. To disable this dial 901, press *, then option 5 and option 5." Grammatical mistakes in this (no space between "Aug." and "This"; no comma after "To disable this") and referring to "me" suggest spam call.
Claimed to be from lloyds bank saying an unauthorised device tried to make a transaction with a link. I don't bank with Lloyds!

Fraud
Just got called by them. They were asking me to go though security but would not tell me who they were or what it related to. I told them if they would not answer my questions, I was not going to answer theirs.
